The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of public facilities, including buildings, right of ways, parks, roads, storm drains, trees, vehicles, and parking lots as well as the supply of high quality drinking water, sufficient reserve capacity for fire protection needs, and wastewater collection and treatment. It also helps facilitate special events.
