Spring Cleanup
The Village's annual Spring Clean-Up Day occurs on a Saturday each May. Check the Village Newsletter for the specific date. The event offers the opportunity to "clean house" and dispose of "stuff" you've been accumulating over the winter. The types of items picked up are:
- Furniture (must weigh less than 50 lbs.)
- Lawn and garden items (not yard waste)
- Plumbing fixtures
- Small auto parts drained of oil and gasoline
- Bundled construction debris (not more than 1 cubic yard, weighing less than 50 lbs.)
- Similar types of items that are usually found in garages or basements
The following items will not be picked up:
- Items weighing more than 50 pounds
- Automobile batteries
- Liquid or hazardous waste materials such as paints, gasoline or motor oil
- Bricks, stones, concrete
- Roofing debris
- Tires
- White goods (appliances, air conditioners, water heaters, etc.)
- Computers, computer parts or plasma TV's
