Redwood Apartment Neighborhoods (Approved Development)
Redwood Apartment Neighborhoods is under contract to purchase 21.34 acres on the south side of Route 22 east of County Line Road. Redwood's proposed development includes 110 for-rent two-bedroom, two-bathroom attached single-family homes (townhouse style) with two car garages. The entire development would be served by private streets and sidewalks maintained by Redwood. The proposed development will include 12.5 acres of green space, including 5.6 acres of wetlands.
A public hearing of the Village’s Planning and Zoning Commission plan was held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 to consider the proposed development. A Village Board meeting was held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 to discuss the Planning & Zoning Commission's recommendation to the Village Board.
